Terms and conditions of sale.

Unless and until BCS accepts your order by emailing confirmation that it has despatched your product, no contract will exist between us for the sale of any product.  Acceptance will be deemed complete at the time BCS sends you the email, whether or not you receive it.  Please ensure that you submit a valid email address when placing your order.

To the fullest extent permitted at law, we are providing this website and its contents on an "as is" basis and make no (and disclaim all) representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, with respect to this website or the information, content, materials or products included in it.  This includes, without limitation, warranties or merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.  Neither do we guarantee that the information accessed via this website is accurate, complete or current.

Unless specifically stated on this website and to the fullest extent permitted at law, BCS, its directors, employees, affiliates or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or the information, content, materials or products included within it.  This is a comprehensive limitation of liability that applies to all damages of any kind, including (without limitation) compensatory, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss of data, income, or profit, loss of or damage to property and claims of third parties.  For the avoidance of doubt, BCS does not limit its liability for death or personal injury to the extent only that it arises as a result of the negligence of BCS, directors, employees, affiliates or other representatives.

Pricing

All prices include VAT.  Prices and information on product availability is subject to change without notice.

Postage & packaging

A standard charge of £7.50 is made for postage and packing although for posted items we always make an appropriate refund of up to £4.  As we generally use commercial couriers and it is not always possible for people to be home at all times, it is very helpful to have details of whether your delivery can be left safely with neighbours or somewhere around your property.  If this is the case please leave details on Customers Comments.  Alternatively, you may wish to consider whether the delivery could be made to a work address. 

Timed deliveries are available.  Please contact us for a quote on the number below.  In normal circumstances we aim to despatch all items within 2 working days.  However, this may not always be possible, for example, because of stock availability.  In such circumstances, delivery may take up to 21 days.  We will of course contact you if a delay is expected. 

Export orders

We already supply many overseas clubs and players with equipment.  For such orders, the cost of carriage is calculated on an individual basis dependent on weight and size of parcel.  We will always contact you to ensure the cost is acceptable before processing your order.   Please email us at bcs@peterrice.co.uk or phone direct on +44 20 8663 3582.  We look forward to hearing from you.  

Exchange and returns

We will exchange goods on a free of charge basis if any incorrect items have been supplied by us.  Any goods needing to be exchanged for size or colour etc., will be sent by return of post as long the new goods required are in stock.  The originals must be returned to us unused and in condition for resale together with payment for postage.  This does not affect your statutory rights. Refunds will be completed in full (less carriage) providing the goods are returned to us in an unused condition within 14 days.  Please package the items and enclose an explanatory note with your name, address, daytime telephone number and a copy of your receipt to:  Beckenham Cricket Specialists, 181A High Street, Beckenham, Kent, BR3 1AE. 

Faulty Goods

Any obviously faulty or damaged goods will be exchanged, refunded or repaired as necessary with proof of purchase.  However, some goods may need to be returned to the manufacturer for inspection.  We will always try to provide the fastest possible service to minimise any inconvenience.  Please package the faulty items with an explanatory note together with your name, address, daytime telephone number and a copy of your receipt to:  Beckenham Cricket Specialists, 181A High Street, Beckenham, Kent, BR3 1AE.
